Through the years, Candy & Schonwald team members have individually and collectively volunteered for numerous organizations. The following organizations or causes have been close to our hearts

North Texas Food Bank

This top-ranked nonprofit relief organization provides more than 190,000 meals every day for families across 13 counties. Our Candy & Schonwald team volunteers at the North Texas Food Bank Distribution Center. We work in four-hour shifts, sorting and packing a variety of nutritious food and beverages.

Candy & Schonwald Holiday Project

The holiday spirit has moved us to help a local family each year. Since 2006, our Dallas CPA firm has worked with an elementary school just east of Downtown Dallas in the East Dallas Historical District to identify a family in need of assistance. Individually and as a firm, we provide gifts, food and other necessities tailored to their lives in hopes that we can brighten their Christmas.

Shoes for Orphan Souls

Small things that we take for granted, like new shoes and socks, are often rare for vulnerable children around the world. That’s why our staff is happy to write personal notes and secure them to shoes being shipped to children abroad. It is heartwarming to know that this small gesture would put a smile on each child’s face.

Feed My Starving Children

FMSC is a nonprofit organization dedicated “to seeing every child whole in body and spirit.” Donations fund the meal ingredients, volunteers hand-pack the meals, and meals are donated to partners around the world.
